Quote: Psalm 139:14

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Everyone has felt at times invaluable. People or situations make you feel as if you shouldn’t be respected, loved or cared for. This can make you feel like you don’t know your place in the world – in the universe. I wrote “I Am my Father’s Daughter” because this is the time to remember who you are! We are all God’s children. We are important to him and he loves us all. There is nothing wrong with knowing your self-worth and respectfully demanding to be treated correctly. We should also take care to handle others in the same way. So, anytime anyone says otherwise, remember who your daddy is! 🙂

I am my Father’s Daughter

by Shannon Singleton

God is my Father
I love him so
I am my Father’s daughter
This is how I know

I am strong
Because He is strength
I am beautiful
Because all good things, he creates

I love
Because He –is– LOVE
I am forgiving
Because He shows mercy from above

I am more valuable
Than any precious stone
Because He is all powerful
That sits on the throne

I can do all things through him
Because He is the great I AM
The gentle shepherd
That takes care of his little lambs

He is my Father
He loves me so
I am my Father’s daughter
This I will always know
