This month brings you a poem from MSF member Sarah…
I looked to the sky.
When they told me it was the limit,
I looked to the moon.
When they told me not to reach for it,
I looked to the stars.
When they told me I would not make it,
I looked to myself.
When they told me I could not achieve it,
I looked at what I have done.
When they told me I would not do much,
I looked at who I am.
I looked at what I have become.
I looked at what I have made.
I looked at what I have survived.
And now I know
They all told me lies.
I am me
And that is someone,
Someone no one else can be.
