Dwyane Wade is an American professional basketball player currently with the Miami Heat of the NBA. He is also well known for his philanthropic involvement in various community-based organizations promoting and supporting education, health, and social skills for children in at-risk situations.

Mr. Wade recently won the BET Humanitarian Award for his outstanding contributions of giving back to his community and other organizations. He is a shining example of human compassion for others.
